For the fifth consecutive year, we are running our annual fundraiser - Global Girls Run the World. This movement-based fundraiser is our biggest event of the year.
Creating Opportunities and Inspiring Leadership
Global Girl Project works with grassroots organisations to close the gap in leadership opportunities for girls in marginalised communities in the Global Majority.
Through high-quality leadership and community development programs, we ensure girls have the tools, training, and support to lead social action and drive change.
From 2015 to 2020, Global Girl Project’s Exchange Programme guided girls in designing and launching sustainable community projects.
In 2025, we are relaunching this program as the Global Girl Leadership Academy.
The Academy will provide:
3 months of in-person, locally led leadership training
3 months of girls leading their own community action projects, supported by GGP
Opportunities for 70 girls across 8 countries, including Haiti, Uganda, South Africa, and Afghanistan.

What is this campaign about?
Global Girls Run the World is Global Girl Project’s annual fundraiser. This year, we aim to raise £25,000 to launch the Global Girl Leadership Academy, a three-month program that will train and support 70 girls across eight countries.
How will my contribution be used?
Each £3,500 raised unlocks the program in a new location. This will fund leadership training, project grants for community initiatives, and ongoing support for girls leading social action.
How can I get involved?
You can donate to our Chuffed fundraiser, join as a country representative to raise funds, or share the campaign with your network to inspire others to participate!
